Job Title: Safety Ambassador
Pay Range: $15.00 to $15.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Pay Day!)
Shift/Schedule:

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Patrol the assigned zone on foot and/or bike as a deterrent and be on the lookout for unwanted behavior and activity.
  • Provide information, assistance, and directions to pedestrians and visitors. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
  • Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to local authorities via established communication methods. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and other identifiers.
  • Firmly and courteously request compliance from persons violating low-level quality of life crimes, such as panhandling, loitering, disruptive behavior, etc.
  • Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and city information.
  • Responsible for making a specified number of visits to zone businesses to share information and gather contact information.
  • Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed, which requires being proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.

  • Must have the physical capacity to walk or traverse (including riding a bike) continuously during an eight-hour shift, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions (free uniforms provided)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
