• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health history, strengths, and areas for growth, facilitating the development of targeted treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at helping clients set and achieve their personal goals related to mental health and recovery.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure integrated client care, participating in treatment team meetings to assess and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans to assist clients experiencing acute distress or at risk of harm.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups to empower clients and enhance their coping skills.
• Maintain meticulous and timely records in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, ensuring comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

The clientele you will serve includes individuals in various stages of substance use treatment, as well as those dealing with mental health issues. Your work will support clients aged 18 and above who are facing significant life challenges and require empathetic, individualized therapeutic support. You will play a critical role in fostering a sense of safety and trust, instilling hope and resilience in vulnerable populations.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health settings, specifically in outpatient care.
• Strong proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and a deep understanding of evidence-based treatment practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with integrated care models. Knowledge of community resources and support services will enhance your ability to assist clients further. Fluency in a second language can also be beneficial in meeting the diverse needs of our client population.
