Stores Associate –  Job Description.
SafeTech USA is adding a Stores Associate to our team at our HUMBLE location, dayshift M-F 7-4 pm
The Stores Associate will need to perform a wide range of inventory activities to support the efficient operation of the HUMBLE location.
Primary Duties include:
  • Stock shelves with received parts.
  • Pull parts from shelves using very specific pick tickets.
  • Prepare items for shipping as necessary.
  • Continually organize warehouse space.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts on inventory.
  • Maintain a highly accurate inventory.

Duties as needed:
  • Partner with the Purchasing team to order parts and supplies as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between your clients (internal and external).
  • Support the facility & purchasing manager as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Growth Opportunity:
  • Advancement paths via purchasing or operations.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, scanning, and the ability to learn new software programs related to function.
  • Self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following:
  • Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
  • Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and files.
