Position Summary:

As Regional Clinical Reimbursement Specialist, you are delegated the administrative authority and accountability necessary for the functions of the reimbursement department at each facility in your region. This position assumes a primary role in RAI process as set forth by the above agencies. You are expected to provide innovative, responsible results with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and be mindful of all revenue aspects dependent on your position.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Nurse in the state of employment.

  • Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree from a (4) four-year college or university or four (4) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have proven leadership ability with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing service administration preferred.

  • Must have the ability to travel within your assigned geographic area.
