Field Sales Account Executive – Matterport (Irvine, CA)

Matterport is a global leader in spatial computing, turning buildings into immersive digital twins. This role is based in Irvine, CA and focuses on selling the Matterport product offering across AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality industries.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to sell Matterport products and services.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast weekly and monthly sales pipeline.
  • Engage distributors and understand customer needs to recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential customers, both online and on site.
  • Represent Matterport at trade shows and product demonstration events.
  • Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for distributors and customers.
  • Report sales progress and pipeline status to the Sales Manager.
  • Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) for lead management and pipeline tracking.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of enterprise or mid‑market sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue‑based sales quotas in SaaS or ARR.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated commitment and success with prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with value‑based selling using ROI and MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Strong ability to articulate strategic client pain points and create compelling value propositions.
  • Experience in commercial or residential real estate, insurance, restoration, construction, or travel industry sales.
  • Prior experience with technology companies.
  • Team‑selling experience and strong relationship‑building skills.
