JOB TITLE: Senior A&P Technician
LOCATION: Manassas, VA
PAY RATE: $36/hour

Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced A&P Technician with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with Saab 340 aircraft.

  • Support aircraft maintenance, modifications, and ensuring airworthiness compliance, while working closely with a team of technicians, including a Lead Technician.

  • The ideal candidate will bring expertise in aircraft systems, troubleshooting, inspections, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support daily workflow and airworthiness responsibilities as defined by the Lead Technician.

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Saab 340 aircraft.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

  • Perform complex modifications, retrofits, and system upgrades, ensuring compliance with FAA and regulatory standards.

  • Complete accurate documentation per FAA and company requirements.

  • Monitor aircraft systems and components to prevent critical issues.

  • Ensure compliance with FAA Part 25, NASA, and Aurora Flight Sciences guidelines.

  • Perform final inspections and verify airworthiness standards.

  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, avionics, and structural issues on Saab 340 aircraft.

  • Stay current with technical manuals, bulletins, and updates.

  • Coordinate with parts department for timely materials and tools.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of Saab 340 maintenance, repair, and modification experience.

  • FAA A&P License required; Inspection Authorization (IA) a plus.

  • Experience with systems upgrades, avionics installations, and airframe alterations.

  • GE CT7, Flight Safety International Saab 340 A/B, and GE Dowty Propeller certifications strongly preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with maintenance tracking software and diagnostic tools.

  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain airport access card.

  • MUST BE US PERSONS
