Job Description

Complete Professional Services (CPS)is searching for an NDNIA/ACAS Systems Engineer – Senior, you will provide sustainment support of the Army’s network vulnerabilities security assessment capability and related hardware and software per enterprise design and build guidance. This requirement is for the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental Unites States (OCONUS) theaters, including Pacific (PAC), Europe (EUR), Southwest Asia (SWA), and Korea theaters of operation. You will assist the Government in implementing technical solutions ensuring adherence to established Government and NDNIA/ACAS operational/technical requirements and standards. You will develop draft implementation guidance, Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs), best practice information, schedules and detailed product feature specifications to support integration of NDNIA/ACAS into the LandWarNet. You will provide engineering to support implementation and sustainment of related hardware, software and applications for the enterprise Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) environments. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting CPS's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Draft system support requirements documentation, for review in order to support the NDNIA/ACAS suite of software tools.
  • Research and analyze DoD and Department of the Army (DA) policies to mitigate implementation problems that may impact the NDNIA/ACAS implementation.
  • Direct and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
  • Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex capabilities that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
  • Develop draft NDNIA/ACAS sustainment support documentation for updating and utilization of current and future LandWarNet architectures, change control, configuration management, and operations procedures.
  • Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.
  • Provide Tier III sustainment support during migration and implementation of tech refresh life cycle.
  • Provide operational engineering support for the Configuration Management (CM) process in support of routine patching, synchronization with AGM and day-to-day operational issues.
  • Support NDNIA/ACAS planning, architecture, technical integration, project management, engineering, testing, training, coordination, implementation, and technical support in the Army Enterprise.
  • Support large-scale implementations NDNIA/ACAS products.
  • Apply higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solutions.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Current Active Secret Security Clearance and or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with more than 4 years practical experience OR more than 12 years of practical experience in lieu of degree requirement.
  • The positions are IT Level I in accordance with AR 25-2.
  • IAT Level III certified as specified in DOD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002 (CISSP, CASP, CISA, GCIH or GCED IA Certifications).
  • Ability to obtain the Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification within six months of start date.
Additional Information

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Five years of experience in the following areas: Active Directory and Directory Services, Intermediate Network Management, Microsoft Virtualization, VMware Virtualization, Server/Desktop Hardware (e.g. Dell, HP), Microsoft and Red Hat Linux System Administration (SA) and Engineering.
  • Skills and expertise in the following technologies: SQL/XSQL Server Administrator (SA), MAC O/S and security, Information Assurance (IA), IP Data Networking and Vulnerability Assessment product engineering and design, IP network vulnerability scanner Tier 3 support, REM 3.X / Retina 5.X and greater, ACAS Security Center 4.X / Nessus 5.X or greater and HP Tenable Nessus products.
