Job Title: Database Engineer 3 (SQL Server DBA)

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Charlotte, NC โ€“ Hybrid Role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Interview Process: 1 round virtual interview - 1 hour duration

Job Description:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for working on medium-to-high profile database and database services incremental change the bank projects and run the bank efforts focused on analytics and operational reporting, and client approved software products within the Microsoft technology stack specifically Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • You will conduct moderate to complex partner technology needs, timelines, expectations, deliverables, and communications centric to the partner relationship and data architecture and data services platform solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide analysis and design support for data related projects and enhancements across all SDLC environments, including problem tickets, work requests, root cause analysis, and work orders and other issue resolution paths.
  • Partner closely with technology teams, resources, and business partners in the implementation, engineering, and support across all environments to address partner satisfaction, compliance, performance, security, stability, scalability, and speed to market based on documented business and technical requirements.
  • Manage complex Always On configurations with SQL Server 2019 - 2022.
  • Responsible for communications associated with ongoing support and the deployment of data architecture and policy principles for improvement of the strategic use of enterprise data in achieving satisfaction, skills, security, speed, scalability, and stability.
  • Recommend, mentor, train, and monitor resource allocations, project skills alignment, resource forecasting, and project tasks and challenges as determined appropriate by management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on implementation steps, technical procedures, knowledge base materials in collaboration with other database analysts, architecture, and business partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Hands on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On and SSIS (including SSISDB).
