SCCM Packaging Engineers are IT professionals responsible for creating, testing, deploying, and maintaining software packages using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). They work to ensure that applications are efficiently and securely distributed across an organization's computer systems. Their duties include scripting installations, troubleshooting deployment issues, and supporting software updates, all while adhering to company standards and security policies.

Familiarity with software deployment tools, MSI technology, Windows operating systems, and ITIL processes is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills for understanding user requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
