Job description

Looking for a job where you can make a real difference every day? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS, you'll support people with identified needs as they pursue their hopes, dreams, and goals through person-centered care.
Pay:
  • DSP pays $16.00/hour!
  • Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase up to $16.50/hour.
  • $2500 Hiring Bonus*

  • S/S 7am-3, M 3-9, W 2-9; Th/F3-9
  • Th/F 9-2, S/S 8-8, TH/F 9-2
  • S/S 8-2, M/T/W 9-2, M/T/W9-2
  • T/W 3-9, S/S 3-9, M/T/W 3-9
  • S/S 3-9, T 2-9, TH/F 3-9, T 2-9

What You'll Do:
  • Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene needs, meals, household support/cleaning, and transportation
  • Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
  • Advocate for people with identified needs' rights, needs, and preferences
  • Monitor health and well-being and report changes as needed
  • Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings

Work Environment:
  • Residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people with identified needs
