POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new radiologist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary care team that includes nine (9) other radiologists.
Physicians are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and management in comfortable, modern settings. ย This includes scribes and staff to perform clinical administrative tasks.
The breast care team includes:
  • radiologists
  • nurses
  • nurse navigators
  • breast surgeons

The practice includes a multi-disciplinary cancer program and weekly tumor boards, and sonically-guided biopsies are performed. ย 
The radiologist will oversee both screening and diagnostic cases, alongside skilled breast surgeons.
The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
While the ability to read body imaging and general radiology is a plus and can provide additional compensated work, it is not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • New York medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certified or Eligible, Radiology
  • Fellowship Training, Breast Imaging preferred
  • previous experience in breast imaging accepted
  • ability to read tomosynthesis, breast MRI, and breast ultrasound
