Pay Range: $17.87 per hour (or applicable Local minimum wage) plus commission based on TNH Financial Statement Page 3 Line 2 Parts Department Gross Profit.
North Hollywood Toyota (TNH) is seeking for a Parts Counter to enhance our current Parts department growth. We are seeking for a detail oriented multitask and energetic candidate to join our team. TNH offers a position work environment and encourages internal promotions.
As a Parts Counter, you'll be responsible for managing inbound calls, providing price quotes, and answering any other inquiries for customers. Support in pulling and filling orders from stock and pull orders for delivery. You will be the leading support to our Parts team.
This is a full-time role in which you'll report to the Parts Manager. You must be willing to work onsite at the North Hollywood Toyota office.
What you'll do as a Customer Service Representative?
  • Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting parts
  • Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Review body shop estimates, confirm parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Pulls and fills orders from stock.
  • Report out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention to Parts manager.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
  • Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
  • Pull orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
  • Follows up on back-ordered parts.
  • Verifies will-call back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
  • Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
  • Assists outside sales representatives with their orders.
  • Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  • Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
  • Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians.
  • Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
  • Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
  • Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
  • Stay current on new products and product updates.
  • Work with Parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
