ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Pharmacists fill prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Respond courteously to inquiries from customers and physicians, providing professional consultation.
  • Model effective customer service, handle complaints, and minimize wait times.
  • Train pharmacy staff, providing feedback to enhance their professional development.
  • Participate in clinical programs and maintain communication with peers and management.
  • Maintain CII records and conduct monthly audits.
  • Manage inventory levels, rotate stock, and utilize the RX return process.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal record-keeping for controlled substances.
  • Implement company policies and standards consistently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager/Head Pharmacist, Store Director, Pharmacy Director, and Corporate Management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain standards in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
  • Exposure to compounding and cleaning chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD) and valid state license.
  • Pass the NAPLEX and State Law Board.
  • Complete required continuing education.

  • Complete all necessary training programs.
