A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Charlotte area is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a contract opportunity covering a temporary leave. This role offers the chance to provide essential pharmacy services in a community-focused clinic serving underserved populations.
Position Details:

  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Setting: FQHC/340B clinic
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; no weekends
  • Duration: Approximately 4-6 weeks with potential to extend
  • System: PioneerRx
Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily pharmacy operations in a 1 Pharmacist/1 Technician model
  • Dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with FQHC policies and 340B regulations
  • Provide patient-focused care tailored to a diverse and underserved population
  • Collaborate closely with clinic staff to optimize medication therapy
  • Maintain thorough documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
  • 1-3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably in an FQHC or community health setting
  • Comfort working independently in a small pharmacy team
