Overview

The Associate Director, Dry Eye HCP Marketing position is responsible for key elements of in-market execution of Eye Care Rx, Dry Eye product(s) and will lead the brand strategy and tactical execution of product(s) that represents a key growth driver for the Eye Care Rx business. They will have a proven record of success in developing ECP-centric marketing strategies based on market research, analysis of market trends, connectivity to the ECPs within the market, and the ability to speak to performance metrics within the Dry Eye Market place. This position reports to the Executive Director of DE HCP Marketing, Rx Pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and execution of the brand strategy for Dry Eye Brands, including budget-related tracking, project management oversight and leading projects through the promotional review process
  • Possess a level of clinical and business acumen, befitting of a brand-lead
  • Work effectively to develop strategies and tactics that align to meet the Dry Eye Franchise strategic objectives
  • Employ cross-functional, enterprise leadership, to plan, measure, and optimize strategies consistent with the brand plans (understanding of cross functional teams – e.g. Medical, Access, HEOR, Analytics)
  • Oversee effectiveness of programs and initiatives including success tracking criteria and KPIs
  • Participate in all brand planning and budget meetings and facilitate in the development of brand planning deliverables consistent with strategic brand objectives
  • Partner effectively with internal and external teams and vendor agencies
  • Collaborate, interact, and effectively communicate with external thought leaders, key customers, and leadership
  • Attend multiple congresses, symposia and customer meetings within a calendar year (Approx 4-6)

Qualifications

  • 8+ years marketing experience; 5+ years pharmaceutical marketing experience (Eye Care exp is a plus)
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience (2+ years of sales exp is a plus)
  • Proven record of success in developing customer-centric marketing strategies and a deep understanding of the patient journey
  • Possesses strategic thinking capabilities that can forge a vision for success and engage others to support that vision
  • Ability to manage and lead within a matrixed organization and deal with ambiguity/change
  • Dynamic presentation skills, ability to speak in front of large audiences and senior leadership
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and strong business acumen (preferably in Eye Care)
  • Ability to assess data and derive insights from market trends
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
  • Other Job Requirements: Domestic Travel required, ability to travel overnight ~15%

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $190,000.00 and $210,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
