Posting Summary
The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a full-time Abdominal/Body Imager. The successful candidate must be fellowship trained in abdominal/body imaging or demonstrate experience in abdominal/body imaging, must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, and be ABR eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology. J1 Waiver sponsorship is available. The position will offer a market competitive salary and excellent benefits.
We are seeking a candidate at the Assistant Professor level or higher to join our section; new graduates are also encouraged to apply. We serve a diverse community with a wide range of interesting cases. We are a collegial department that values education of residents, clinical excellence, and faculty personal growth and well-being.
The Department of Radiology has 25 clinical and research faculty members, and 38 diagnostic radiology residents who provide patient care for all the major divisions of contemporary imaging. The Department is responsible for all aspects of diagnostic imaging at University Hospital, a tertiary care center as well as the Doctor's Office Center, an outpatient facility on campus. University Hospital is a liver transplant center and a Level 1 trauma center comprising of state-of-the-art equipment and employs medical and dental professionals who are specialists in their field. We take care of a diverse patient population with a wide variety of interesting cases. University Hospital is a Liver Transplant Center and Level 1 Trauma center.
