Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' unique mental health challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to their treatment.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies that promote personal growth, resilience, and emotional well-being.
• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients and regularly track progress to evolve treatment strategies.
• Provide virtual sessions through teletherapy platforms, maintaining a professional yet welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with state guidelines and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and remain informed of contemporary trends and methodologies in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Bridge Horizon Counseling Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families who are facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often seek therapy for issues such as relational conflicts, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other psychological disturbances. Your role will be critical in guiding them on their journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• An empathetic, nonjudgmental attitude that supports clients' diverse experiences and struggles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills crucial for effective caseload management and handling administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy in both individual and group settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to addiction treatment is a plus.
• Knowledge of teletherapy technologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated success in developing effective treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
