In 2014, Forty Five Ten was acquired by Dallas-based Headington Companies and two years later relocated from its original location at 4510 McKinney Avenue to the heart of downtown Dallas, joining its larger family of hospitality, restaurant, and retail brands. Position Summary

The Stylist is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience through personalized styling, wardrobe consultation, and relationship-driven selling. As a trusted advisor, the Stylist develops long-term client relationships, curates complete lifestyle wardrobes, and provides elevated service that reflects the sophistication and exclusivity of the Forty Five Ten brand.

The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury fashion, possesses exceptional styling expertise, and has a proven ability to build a loyal clientele while consistently achieving sales goals.


Key Responsibilities

Luxury Client Experience

* Deliver personalized, high-touch styling services that exceed client expectations.

* Build trusted relationships with new and existing clients through exceptional hospitality and discretion.

* Conduct wardrobe consultations and style assessments to understand each client's lifestyle and preferences.

* Create complete looks that incorporate apparel, accessories, fine jewelry, footwear, and handbags, as well as beauty, art, and objects.

* Provide seamless service before, during, and after each purchase, including alterations, special orders, and follow-up communication.


Client Development

* Build and maintain an active book of business through consistent client outreach and relationship management.

* Utilize CRM tools to document client preferences, purchase history, sizing, and upcoming wardrobe needs.

* Schedule styling appointments and private shopping experiences.

* Proactively contact clients regarding new arrivals, exclusive collections, seasonal wardrobe updates, and special events.

* Develop relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

* Engage with walk-in traffic to create a relationship and convert them into repeat clients.


Sales Performance

* Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and productivity metrics.

* Drive average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), and cross-category selling.

* Identify opportunities to expand client purchases through thoughtful styling recommendations.

* Maintain strong product knowledge across all designer collections.


Styling Expertise

* Stay current on luxury fashion trends, emerging designers, runway collections, and seasonal styling techniques.

* Interpret trends into wearable wardrobes tailored to each client's personal style.

* Assist with fashion presentations, trunk shows, and editorial styling projects when requested.

* Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure selling floor presentations are maintained.


Team Collaboration

* Partner with Fashion Directors, Buyers, Sales Director, and fellow Stylists to maximize selling opportunities.

* Support store events, designer appearances, and VIP experiences.

* Share product knowledge and styling inspiration with the sales team.

* Foster a collaborative and client-focused culture.


Brand Representation

* Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for Forty Five Ten and its luxury designer partners.

* Maintain a polished, fashion-forward professional appearance consistent with the brand.

* Demonstrate discretion, integrity, and professionalism in all client interactions.


Qualifications

3–5+ years of luxury retail sales or personal styling experience.

Proven success developing and maintaining a high-value client book.

Strong understanding of luxury designer fashion, accessories, jewelry, and current trends.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Experience using CRM or clienteling platforms preferred.

Fashion merchandising, styling, or related education is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk the sales floor for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 pounds.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
