About the Role:

We are looking for a creative, data-curious, and execution-focused Employer Brand Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. Based out of our Arlington, Virginia office (hybrid), this role reports directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager of Employer Brand. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will bring Remitly's employee experience to life by turning authentic stories into compelling content that reaches and resonates with the best talent in the world.

You will own the day-to-day execution of our global employer brand and recruitment marketing programs. This means producing content, managing social channels, building campaigns, running events, and championing employee voices. If you are passionate about storytelling, digital marketing, and the belief that work can and should be meaningful, this role is for you.

You Will:

Employee Storytelling & Advocacy

  • Discover and share authentic employee stories across video, written, and social formats to showcase the true depth and diversity of life at Remitly.
  • Build and manage our Employee Advocacy program, giving team members the tools, content, and inspiration they need to organically share their Remitly pride.
  • Partner closely with the People Team and global key stakeholders to ensure our storytelling genuinely reflects the full breadth of our global workforce.

Recruitment Marketing Campaigns

  • Design and run targeted recruitment marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and email to attract top talent for our most critical roles.
  • Map out a dynamic content calendar that aligns with our hiring priorities, cultural moments, and major company milestones.
  • Track campaign performance and use data to improve our messaging and strategy, sharing key wins and insights with stakeholders along the way.

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Manage Remitly's employer brand social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, developing a vibrant, consistent voice that cuts through the noise.
  • Keep the Remitly Careers site and culture blog fresh and relevant so it always reflects our latest team moments and achievements.
  • Produce creative assets like graphics, short-form videos, and copy, collaborating with external vendors to bring ideas to life.

Events & Community

  • Plan and host engaging employer brand experiences at career fairs, industry conferences, campus recruiting events, and internal culture celebrations.
  • Manage our presence on key employer brand platforms and award programs, including Glassdoor and Great Place to Work, to keep Remitly top-of-mind for job seekers.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, digital marketing, or a closely related role where you have helped companies tell their story.
  • Deep familiarity with social platforms and employer profiles like LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, and Indeed. You understand how the algorithms work and know exactly what it takes to get people engaging.
  • A solid grasp of marketing fundamentals, from audience segmentation and campaign setup to A/B testing and tracking performance data.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with a knack for adapting your tone and voice seamlessly to fit different channels and audiences.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

Compensation Details. This is a 12-month contract with an hourly range for this position is $55 - $65 USD, commensurate with experience. This role has a path to FTE conversion based on performance and business need - with full-time benefits, and equity eligibility upon conversion.
