General Description

The Cash Control Clerk provides support to the Leadership Team primarily through the management of cash on hand in the operation. This individual will be responsible for distributing, collecting, and balancing cash as well as organizing and balancing other forms of payment. In order to be successful, the Cash Control Clerk must be highly organized, a good communicator, and be able to complete tasks quickly and accurately. In addition, the ability to build strong working relationships is a must.

Work Duties

  • Count and distribute cash drawers and cash banks
  • Provide change as needed
  • Run end-of-shift reports for cash-handling positions
  • Collect and balance cash drawers and cash responsibilities
  • Prepare daily deposits and update daily deposit logs
  • Perform periodic cash audits
  • Manage and balance Manager funds; update Manager fund logs
  • Organize all paperwork to be distributed to Revenue Department
  • Maintain consistent communication with Company Leaders and the Revenue Department
  • Understand and comply with the Company Cash Handling Policy
  • Work closely with all other leaders and team members and display good teamwork
  • Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics, and Company Guidelines at all times.
  • All other tasks as assigned
