Principal Consulting Engineer (Civil/Environmental)
Technical Expertise, Client Relationships & Complex Project Leadership
We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on, Client/Project facing leader who thrives on building relationships, leading teams, and driving business growth to join and be a leader in our Environmental Investigation and Remediation Group. This is more than a technical role-it's an opportunity to be a connector, a strategist, and a visible leader who helps shape both our client partnerships and our technical expertise.
If you're energized by solving complex technical problems on multi-faceted Brownfield redevelopment projects, solving more classic contaminated site issues, mentoring technical staff, and turning opportunities into long-term success, this role offers the platform to make a real impact.
Braun Intertec has been growing since 1957, and we are actively looking to add to our world-class Principal leadership and technical group.
What You'll Do
Build meaningful connections. Strengthen relationships with existing clients, develop new clients, partners, and industry peers through proactive outreach, networking, and exceptional technical project delivery.
Lead with purpose and energy, inspire high-performing teams, maintain momentum across projects, and navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
Be the responsible engineer in charge of turn-key remedial actions/site development for which Braun Intertec has a reputation for over many years.
Drive business and project success. Oversee project performance-including budgets, timelines, and resources-ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.
Be the face of our brand and represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, helping expand our visibility and reputation.
Develop and empower talent. Lead, coach, and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative, positive, and growth-oriented environment.
Expand our client base. Partner with business development and program leaders to identify, pursue, and win new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
Deliver technical excellence. Provide expertise and oversight on complex environmental projects, including Sites/Projects in multiple states and under multiple State voluntary programs as well as State and Federal RCRA, CERCLA and UST programs:
- Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
