Title: Rubber Compounding Chemist (Plastic or Rubber)

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as a formulation/production chemist in a rubber or plastics production environment and be able to troubleshoot formulation, mixing, molding, calendering, and or extrusion processes.
The candidate must understand testing properties of rubber and plastics and be able to make decisions based on testing results.
This position requires time management, decision making, and excellent organizational skills.
This position entails working on a variety of projects at one time, customer follow-up, report writing, project collaboration, and willingness to be a team player.
This position also entails mentoring and helping to grow younger chemists and technicians.
This is a full-time on-site position offering medical, dental, vision benefits, 401k and paid vacation.
