What is rubber extrusion?

Rubber extrusion is a manufacturing process in which raw rubber material is forced through a die to create products with a continuous cross-sectional shape, such as tubing, seals, and gaskets. The rubber is heated and pushed through a shaped opening, allowing it to take on the desired profile. This method is widely used in automotive, construction, and industrial applications due to its efficiency and ability to produce complex shapes. The process can use various types of rubber compounds depending on the final product's requirements.
