These competencies are essential for ensuring students receive targeted support and achieve academic success through data-driven intervention strategies.

What is an RTI specialist and what do they do?

RTI stands for Response to Intervention, which is an educational approach used to identify and support students with learning or behavioral needs. RTI professionals, often teachers or specialists, use data-driven methods to provide targeted instruction and interventions at increasing levels of intensity. Their main goal is to help students succeed academically by monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed. They also collaborate with parents and other educators to create effective support plans for struggling students.
