We are currently seeking Level 2 Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians to join our dynamic team at X-Ray Industries. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and safety of aerospace components through high-quality radiographic inspections.

As a Level 2 RT Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, performing inspections, interpreting and evaluating results, and preparing accurate documentation in accordance with NAS 410 and XRI-2002 requirements. You will also mentor and guide Level 1 personnel and trainees, helping to build the next generation of skilled NDT technicians.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, indoor environment with no travel required. All training is provided in-house, and multiple shifts are available to meet your work-life balance preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment.

  • Conduct inspections and evaluate results according to customer and code requirements.

  • Document test findings accurately and in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Develop work instructions from general procedures (if qualified).

  • Guide and provide OJT for Level 1 and trainee personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and customer specifications.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas following KAIZEN 5S principles.

  • Cross-train in additional NDT methods as opportunities allow.

Shift Availability:

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available based on facility needs.

  • High School Diploma or GED required (documentation must be provided).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Prior experience performing RT inspections in an aerospace or industrial environment preferred.

  • Must meet eligibility requirements under NAS 410 for Level 2 RT certification, including:

    • Documented OJT hours and formal training in the applicable method.

    • Previous Level 1 certification or equivalent experience.


  • Certifiable to Level 2 in Radiographic Testing (RT) under NAS 410 and XRI-2002 standards.

  • Additional certification or experience in PT, MT, UT, DR, or CT is a plus.

  • Valid State-issued ID required.

  • Must meet company requirements for operating a vehicle and qualify for coverage under company insurance (if applicable).
