What is an RSLogix job?

An RSLogix job typically involves programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial automation systems using Rockwell Automation's RSLogix software. This software is used to develop and manage ladder logic programs for Allen-Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). RSLogix professionals work in manufacturing, process automation, and industrial control environments to ensure smooth operation and efficiency. They often collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize automated systems and minimize downtime.

Is PLC programming a good career?

PLC programming is a viable career path for those interested in automation and control systems, involving designing and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers used in manufacturing and industrial environments. It requires knowledge of ladder logic, electrical systems, and often certifications or training. The field offers steady demand and opportunities for advancement with experience and technical skills.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

For roles involving RSLogix, automation technicians, control system engineers, and industrial maintenance specialists are likely to remain in demand, as they require hands-on skills, troubleshooting, and understanding of complex systems that are difficult to fully automate. These jobs often involve on-site work, problem-solving, and specialized knowledge of PLC programming and industrial environments, making them less susceptible to AI automation.
