What are RROs?

RRO stands for 'Registered Radiation Officer' or 'Resident Representative Officer', depending on the industry and context. In the healthcare and nuclear sectors, a Registered Radiation Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations and protecting staff and the public from radiation hazards. They develop safety protocols, conduct training, and oversee radiation monitoring. In other contexts, RRO may refer to roles such as Resident Representative Officer, who acts as a liaison between organizations or manages administrative tasks. The specific duties and qualifications for RROs vary depending on the field and regulatory requirements.
