Job description

We are currently seeking a Soils Technician to join our team! Immediate opening available. Minimum of 1 year of experience as soils technician required. Experience in testing and observing placement of compacted fill (sand cone, nuclear gauge), grading, preparation of field reports, plotting density test results. Salary commensurate with experience.

  • Observing the placement of compacted soils and rock fill
  • Testing of compacted fill using sand cone and/or nuclear density gauge

  • Ability to compile test results, read plans, and write field reports

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy samples and equipment over rough terrain
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
