Radiation Oncologist, Olean, NY
Olean General Hospital, Full Time Rad Onc Opening
Olean General Hospital's cancer care team has an opening for a Radiation Oncologist.
Olean is located 70 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
The successful candidate will be a Board-Certified, Experienced Radiation Oncologist. The physician will work in our Olean General Hospital oncology site at the Mildred Milliman Radiation Medicine Center (MMRMC).
The Position
  • Olean General Hospital is a community hospital in Cattaraugus County in Southern NY State
  • The Radiation Oncologist will work at the off site Radiation Medicine Center a few miles from Olean General Hospital
  • The position is Monday-Friday, days only
  • This is a 100% outpatient position in the Oncology Center
  • The practice has dosimetry, physicist and rad tech
  • The office has treatment planning onsite, imaging OBI, and cat scan
  • J1 and H1B Eligible position
  • The support team is experienced
Equipment
Olean General Hospital has the TrueBeam® 4.1, Linear Accelerator. This new generation of linear accelerator delivers fast and accurate radiation dose. TrueBeam® 4.1 rotates around the patient to deliver specifically targeted beams of radiation with pinpoint accuracy. This technology from Varian Medical Systems was engineered to deliver high doses with tremendous accuracy, narrowly targeting tumors and minimizing exposure of the surrounding healthy tissues and organs.
