RPG/EDI Developer

Location: Detroit Suburbs, Michigan (Hybrid)

Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite 2 days a week

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced EDI Specialist who is also a strong RPG developer to join their team on a full-time basis, working two days a week on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's electronic data interchange (EDI) processes and systems, ensuring efficient and accurate exchange of data with our external partners. This role will require the candidate to work onsite in their choice of 2 locations in the Greater Detroit area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's TrustedLink EDI processes and systems to ensure the efficient and accurate exchange of data with external partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure EDI requirements are met
  • Configure and maintain various RPG applications and related EDI transactions, including mapping and testing of EDI documents
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any EDI-related issues or errors
  • Communicate with external partners to ensure compliance with EDI standards and resolve any issues
