Job description

Our Transformation team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise processes.

We are seeking a Senior Celonis Platform Engineer to join our Process Intelligence team and the broader Data Engineering community. In this role, you will own the Celonis platform, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability while delivering enterprise-grade data, integration, automation, and AI solutions that generate measurable business value.

As a hands-on technical expert, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, process mining solutions, analytical applications, and automations. You will also drive platform engineering, release management, technology upgrades, and modernization initiatives while partnering closely with business stakeholders, process analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver reliable, and future-ready Process Intelligence capabilities. 


  • Partner with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data and automation solutions.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) with Celonis.
  • Design, build, and optimize Celonis data models, analytical applications, dashboards, and AI enabled automation that drives actionable insights.
  • Establish and execute platform engineering and release management frameworks to enable seamless technology upgrades, migrations, and continuous platform modernization.
  • Lead platform transformation initiatives, including migration of data models, analytical assets, integrations, and automation components across environments, business units, or technology platforms
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintain clear technical documentation for solutions and architectures.
  • Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and contribute to process intelligence, automation, and AI strategy.

  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, process intelligence, automation, software engineering, analytics, or related technical disciplines.
  • Hands-on expertise with Celonis around data engineering, process mining (nice-to-have OCPM), platform administration, application development, release management, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, data modelling, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure), with experience integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and SuccessFactors etc.
  • Proven experience delivering scalable enterprise solutions, including data, integration, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, while leading platform releases, technology upgrades, migrations, and environment management using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, a results-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field (Masterโ€™s degree or certifications such as Celonis, RPA, Scrum are a plus)
