Job Title: Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Developer (Financial Operations) Location: Falls Church, VA (DHHQ) FLSA Classification: Exempt - Salaried Employment Class: Full Time Regular Position Summary: The RPA Developer is responsible for the full lifecycle of RPA and automation projects within DoD financial management. The RPA FM Analyst will analyze processes, develop and implement automation solutions, and provide ongoing maintenance and support, while ensuring compliance and collaboration with stakeholders. Specifically: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: RPA Development and Implementation: • Implement full scale RPA Development ( to incl.

RPA Project Lifecycle, Process Development, Deployment, Go-Live, Post-Go Live) • Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots using leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism). • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including process flow diagrams and technical specifications. • Implement error handling and exception management strategies to ensure robust and reliable automation.

• Monitor and troubleshoot existing RPA bots, performing necessary updates and maintenance. • Use Python to develop custom automation scripts, extend RPA functionality, and interface with APIs, databases, or legacy systems. • Integrate RPA with existing systems (ERP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, etc.) to improve operational efficiency • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for end users and administrators Automation Analysis and Design: • Conduct thorough process analysis to identify automation opportunities within DoD financial management workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define automation scope. • Develop detailed business requirements, documents, and technical design specifications. • Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools and technologies.

DoD Financial Management Expertise: • Apply knowledge of DoD financial management processes, regulations (e.g., FMR), and systems (e.g., DFAS systems) to automate financial workflows. • Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements and data privacy regulations. • Understand and integrate with existing DoD financial systems and databases.

Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with financial analysts, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure successful automation implementation. • Provide technical support and training to end-users. • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project status and technical issues.

Continuous Improvement: • Stay up to date with the latest RPA and automation technologies and best practices. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track bot performance and identify areas for optimization.

• Monitor bot performance, conduct regular maintenance, and implement enhancements Education & Experience Requirements Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or other related field Experience: • Proven experience in developing and implementing RPA solutions using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. • Strong understanding of process analysis and automation design principles. • Familiarity with database management and SQL.

• Familiarity with IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF). • Understanding of APIs, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), and data integration • Support DevSecOps and agile development practices within the DoD environment • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to Obtain and maintain a security clearance. • Strong communication skills, both written and oral • Ability to do client travel as needed • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.

RPA Project Lifecycle, Process Development, Deployment, Go-Live, Post-Go Live) • Experience working with DoD financial management systems and processes.
