What is a Royalty Exchange and how does it work?

A Royalty Exchange is a marketplace where individuals can buy and sell royalty income streams, such as those generated from music, patents, books, or trademarks. Sellers receive a lump sum of cash upfront by auctioning off some or all of their future royalty payments to investors. Buyers, in turn, receive the rights to collect those future royalties, potentially earning returns over time. This platform helps creators access capital quickly, while investors gain access to alternative income-generating assets.
