Job description

Tristar Beverage, LLC., a Hand Family Company, is seeking a talented and self-motivated employee for leadership position in our delivery department.

The Delivery Supervisor's primary duties include adherence to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales and minimized returns. This position is accountable for the delivery and merchandising of all products through effective support and development of all Delivery Representatives, Level I through IV, by identifying and executing training opportunities for all Delivery team members.

The Delivery Supervisors will be responsible for assigning the appropriate manpower to each route/truck daily. Like a Delivery Representative, the Delivery Supervisor will conduct a daily Pre-Trip Inspection of the vehicle; s/hewill ensure all required tools and equipment are available on the truck; s/he will maintain a driving record that is acceptable to the company; s/he will possess a current valid CDL and personal automobile insurance; and s/he will adhere to all DOT regulations. S/He will help the Delivery Representative to learn and follow the approved Delivery Structure and Processes and will demonstrate how to identify and fulfill spot sales opportunities.

The Delivery Supervisor will reinforce the emphasis on product freshness and the need to move product as necessary, while remaining conscious of the Company's image, and will emphasize a high level of neatness and cleanliness in the store's displays and coolers. The Delivery Supervisor will identify training opportunities for Delivery Representatives, and institute training as necessary.

The Delivery Supervisor will participate in "work with" and "ride with" days to provide coaching and training opportunities in the field and to ensure all standards of the Delivery Structure and Processes are being met. S/He will also fill in on an as-needed basis for any member of the Delivery Team.

The Delivery Team Leaders will periodically review each route to ensure compliance with DOT regulations regarding driver time of service and periodically restructures routes to remain in compliance. Delivery Supervisors are also responsible for CDL training and DOT regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also include monitoring all vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs, and ensuring that all routine maintenance and/or repairs are completed in a timely manner.

The Delivery Supervisor also performs general administrative duties for the Delivery Team, including review of attendance records, and providing information to the payroll department in a timely fashion.

This position requires a valid CDL-A, DOT Medical Card, proof of personal automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record.
