Job: Delivery Account Manager

Job Code:  AA220 - PR-Delivery Acct Manager

HR Title Group:  Distribution and Production

SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports with this position. 

POSITION SUMMARY:   

Under general supervision, the Delivery Account Manager performs a variety of customer service, administrative, and account management duties in support of customers including: order processing, customer relations, strategy, and sales support functions. Employees in this job class will be responsible for replenishing product in customer facilities and vending machines in accordance with a pre-designated schedule and/or customer requests, and managing win/win relationships with customers through timely research and response to customer inquiries, order status and resolving production, shipping and scheduling issues. Additional responsibilities include fulfilling orders and managing product inventory levels, including loading and transportation of products from warehouse to customer sites and troubleshooting minor issues affecting vending machines when applicable. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate and provide sales support with third party customers at different levels of leadership, work independently, safely operate assigned vehicles, navigate to various locations, and maintain inventory accuracy.

TYPICAL DUTIES:  

1. *Load and unload product into assigned vehicle in a safe, efficient, and organized manner, while maintaining a clean company vehicle.
2. *Responsible for understanding PRIDE’s capabilities and recognizing customer needs while aligning both to grow customer relationships.
3. *Record and adjust inventory levels using customer software and minimizing exposure to excess and obsolete inventory.
4. *Track and compile data and documents, provide follow-up, and obtains necessary information and documents from external sources.
5. *Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport customer products to designated locations.
6. *Follow established routes and schedules by delivering products to customer sites in a safe, timely and professional manner.
7. *Troubleshoot minor vending machine technical issues using guides to diagnose and fix issues.
8. *Prepare and process outbound orders physically and systematically for delivery.
9. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Three or more years of experience in operations, including manufacturing, customer service, materials management, logistics, planning or similar;
• Must have a satisfactory driving record;
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers, including written communication skills using appropriate business English;
• Demonstrated human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team;
• Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;
• Intermediate computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and Apple devices including ability to communicate with phone, text and email;
• Basic troubleshooting ability;
• Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common-sense skills;
• Flexibility of schedule changes and work durations.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

• Maneuvering in and around the warehouse
• Bending and stooping
• Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 35 pounds
• Pulling or pushing up to 75 pounds
• May require use of a pallet jack and boxed truck
• Viewing Computer screen
• Operate technology both at home and in field
• Operating delivery vehicles
• Climbing in and out of vehicle

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Work is performed in a warehouse or distribution environment with forklifts, material handling, and production equipment, as well as in a vehicle while driving. May be exposed to noise from equipment and depending on external weather conditions, exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain. This position requires non-traditional hours.
