The focus of a Sales Porter is maintaining a well-kept dealership lot and showroom.   The focus of this job is producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Precise, consistent productivity is essential. It requires driving, patience and a willingness to handle and complete multiple tasks.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organize, rearrange and replenish inventory as needed
  • Inspect new and existing vehicles for damage
  • Maintain clean cars at all times
  • Have a complete stock of cleaning supplies accessible daily
  • Balancing inventory
  • Cleaning vehicles as needed
  • Assist in other duties such as dealer trades, fueling vehicles 
  • Ensure all new and used cars are presentable and ready to sell
  • Display promotional materials and decor
  • Assist sales staff and porter staff as needed
  • Running various errands
  • Keep entry-ways presentable and clear of debris and snow

Automotive Sales Porter Requirements

  • Ability to work Monday - Thursday 12p-9p and alternating Friday & Saturday 9a-6p 
  • Previous experience as valet or similar role for one year or more
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks; walking and standing for prolonged periods, driving vehicles, and working in all types of weather
  • Consent to background and drug screening
  • Must have valid driver's license with four points or less
