Job description

Shift(s) Description: Monday Friday Clinic Coverage with Hospital Rotation and Beeper Call

Coverage Dates:
  • Start: December 1, 2026
  • End: Ongoing
Practice Details:
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient & Inpatient
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Beeper Call
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Rounding: Inpatient Rounding & Consults
  • Call Type: Beeper Call (30-Minute Response Time)
  • Hospital Rotation: Every 5 6 Weeks
  • Coverage Commitment: Minimum 3 Weeks Per Month (Full-Time Preferred)
Practice Highlights:
  • Long-term opportunity with an established cardiology program
  • Clinic schedule Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Each physician manages their own patient panel
  • Responsibilities include inpatient care, consults, multidisciplinary rounds, reading hospital diagnostic studies, and coordinating care with referring providers
  • One dedicated clinic reading day each week when not on hospital service
  • Provider must serve as the supervising physician for Physician Assistants
  • Facility is seeking providers interested in a long-term commitment
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Cardiology (Required)
  • Cardiology Fellowship (Required)
  • Active Louisiana License or IMLC (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
  • Active Supervising License (Required)
  • Must be available for a minimum of 3 weeks per month
  • Must provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage
