Jasper Electric Motor Mechanic
Job Overview: Jasper Electric Motors is looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting various types of motors.
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday (6:00am to 4:00pm)
  • On call rotating schedule for after hours, holidays, and weekends

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience required
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Pay based on experience
  • Self-driven and good communication skills
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair large & small dc motors
  • Perform routine tests on the armature & field circuits
  • Use diagnostic tools to test various components
  • Preform various mechanical checks
  • Live run test motor
  • Perform quality inspection before returning to customer.
