Job description

The Housekeeper (HK) is responsible for the daily care, cleanliness, and presentation of the Principals' two Miami residences, both luxury condominiums and penthouse properties, as well as a separate staff apartment that functions as a household office. They will also have, under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, oversight of the Fisher Island residence. The Principals are highly design-savvy and value a private and carefully maintained environment, requiring that every detail of their homes reflects their standards of discretion, comfort, and style.

In addition to detailed housekeeping, the HK will assist with light cooking, meal preparation, and food and beverage service, as well as wardrobe care, laundering, and packing and unpacking to support both daily living and travel. The HK will also manage provisioning and household supplies, including grocery shopping, stocking, inventory, monitoring pantry and refrigerator items, and tracking expiration dates for the Fisher Island residence. The HK will take responsibility for monitoring the physical condition of the residences, ensuring that appliances, household systems and ambient controls are functioning properly. The HK reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and works in close collaboration with the Executive Personal Assistant and other household team members to ensure consistency and seamless service delivery across all properties.

This role requires stamina, refined attention to detail, and sound judgment, as well as a thoughtful and intuitive approach when moving through the homes, particularly when the Principals are in residence. The HK must demonstrate discretion, reliability, and the ability to anticipate needs while creating household environments that are welcoming, orderly, and aligned with the Principals' lifestyle preferences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning – Perform detailed housekeeping tasks including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, and ensuring all rooms in both residences are consistently fresh and orderly
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Care – Manage household laundry including washing, ironing, folding, fine garment care, and packing and unpacking for Principals and guests
  • Organization – Maintain order in closets, pantries, and storage areas, ensuring all belongings are handled with care
  • Provisioning & Supplies – Support the Executive Housekeeper with grocery shopping, pantry and refrigerator stocking, monitor expiration dates, and manage cleaning supplies and household staples across both residences and the staff apartment
  • Property & Systems Oversight – Monitor the condition of residences including appliances, household systems, and ambient controls (e.g., HVAC, lighting, temperature). Report issues promptly to the Executive Housekeeper and coordinate with building maintenance teams and outsourced vendors to ensure timely resolution. Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Vendor and Building Staff Oversight – Escort contractors and service providers as needed, liaise with building staff when required, and ensure security and respect for the homes
  • Meal Support – Provide light cooking, food and beverage preparation, table setting, serving, and cleanup as requested
  • Event Support – Provide hands-on assistance with household gatherings, ensuring spaces and service meet expectations
  • Reporting & Communication – Identify and report maintenance issues or needed repairs, maintain daily records, and communicate clearly with the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Administrative Tasks – Support household administration including timesheet tracking, ordering supplies, and documenting procedures as requested by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Pet Care – Provide hands-on assistance with the Principals' dogs. Walk, feed, and administer medication (if needed).

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and household equipment
  • Proven ability to manage provisioning, groceries, and household supplies
  • Excellent communication skills, with discretion and confidentiality in all matters
  • Physical stamina to work extended hours and ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Must have a valid Florida DL and own transportation. Might be tasked with occasional driving to run errands or assist the Principals when needed.

Personal Qualities & Character Sketch

  • Warm and Polished – Respectful, poised, and professional in all interactions
  • Trustworthy and Discreet – Maintains strict confidentiality and demonstrates integrity at all times
  • Service-Minded and Proactive – Anticipates needs, takes initiative, and responds with a can-do attitude
