Root Learning jobs typically involve creating educational materials and visual aids that simplify complex business processes, strategies, or changes within organizations. Professionals in these roles use visual storytelling, graphics, and interactive learning tools to help employees understand and engage with important information. Root Learning specialists often work with organizations during times of change, such as during mergers, new system implementations, or cultural shifts, to ensure everyone is aligned and informed. These roles require skills in communication, instructional design, and visual thinking.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Root Learning professional?

To thrive as a Learning Experience Designer, you need expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and curriculum development, often supported by a degree in education or a related field. Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate), learning management systems (LMS), and possibly certifications like CPLP or ATD are typically required. Creativity, strong communication, and collaboration skills help designers create engaging, learner-centered experiences and work effectively with stakeholders. These skills ensure the development of impactful learning solutions that drive organizational performance and learner engagement.

Internally, you’ll partner with instructional designers, graphic artists, and project managers to ensure that the final learning experience aligns with both client needs and Root Learning’s standards.
