About This Role

A substitute teacher is sought to cover absences or vacation periods of regular classroom teachers, offering a flexible schedule of set daily hours between 7:30am and 6:00pm.


What You'll Do
  • Maintain a healthy and organized classroom environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children, adhering to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement educational programs and daily routines, ensuring alignment with school policies and state regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of children, prioritizing their well-being in all aspects of classroom management.
  • Support teachers in their duties, taking on the responsibilities of a regular classroom teacher in their absence.

Requirements
  • Able to see up close and up to a certain distance, have peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, talk to and hear voices at many levels. Able to get down and back up from the floor easily
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children and parents) and to foster a team environment
