NURSE PRACTITIONER:
Integrative Oncology or Family Practice
(multiple positions)

Location: San Antonio, TX (Clinic-Based)
Practice: Root Causes Integrative Medicine
About the Role
Root Causes is seeking a compassionate, clinically grounded Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our Integrative Oncology and general practice programs. This role works under the supervision of our Medical Director.
The ideal candidate is someone who values team-based medicine, patient education, and continuity of care-especially for patients navigating complex oncology journeys.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide delegated patient care for oncology patients, including follow-ups and symptom support
  • Reinforce individualized care plans and educate patients on treatment recommendations
  • Support patients experiencing side effects related to conventional oncology care
  • Monitor progress and escalate concerns appropriately within the care team
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity and clarity of care
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in alignment with practice standards
Qualifications
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Texas (or eligible for Texas licensure)
  • Interest or experience in oncology, integrative medicine, or complex chronic care
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
