We greatly value our Housekeeping Room Attendants. And why not? They make the first impression, have the longest-lasting impact and greatly influence the total guest experience. LodgeWorks Housekeeping Room Attendants are responsible for continuing the hotel's efforts to deliver outstanding service by cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests.

To put it simply: The primary responsibility of a Housekeeping Room Attendant is to deliver and exceed guest expectations, clean and style hotel rooms and public areas to brand standards, promptly address guest requests and work collaboratively to resolve guest challenges.

Your day-to-day

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.
  • Comply with LodgeWorks' standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
  • Make beds and fold sheets and towels.
  • Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items.
  • Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms and restrooms.
  • Accomplish deep-cleaning tasks of guest rooms.
  • Ensure that we always follow LodgeWorks and OSHA standards when handling chemicals.
  • Maintain professionalism consistent with hotel, brand and company expectations.
  • Ensure cleanliness of housekeeping cart and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and brand standards guidelines of assigned areas.
  • Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
  • Report all lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.
  • Assist in any other task or duties as requested by management.
