This is common in jobs such as live-in caregivers, camp counselors, or hotel staff. The provided housing and meals are usually on-site or very close to the workplace. While this benefit can reduce your living expenses, it may also affect your overall salary offer. It's important to clarify details such as privacy, access to facilities, meal types, and any rules about guests or curfews before accepting the offer. This arrangement can help you save on living expenses, but adapting to a communal environment and employer-set schedules may be a daily part of the experience.
