Job description

Vault is expanding across the Carolinas and we're hiring a Field Superintendent to "run the show" in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep residential roofing installation experience who can manage crews, drive quality, and keep jobs moving on schedule. If you've led high-volume residential roofing installs and know how to hold teams accountable, this is a high-impact role in a fast-growth environment. 
What You'll Do:
 
  • Lead day-to-day residential roofing installations across assigned Carolinas territories
  • Manage roofing crews/subcontractors and oversee multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Ensure quality installs meet manufacturer specs, code requirements, and company standards
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and solve issues in real time (materials, workmanship, scope changes)
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain jobsite compliance
  • Coordinate with Production/Operations/Sales to hit timelines and customer expectations
  • Track progress, production milestones, and readiness for closeout
  • Coach, train, and correct performance to improve crew output and consistency
  • Own field execution from start to completion
What We're Looking For:
  • Leadership, team lead experience is a plus
  • Experience managing multiple crews/jobs or projects and maintaining quality across sites
  • Strong working knowledge of roofing best practices, jobsite flow, and punch/closeout
  • Comfortable enforcing standards, making decisions, and leading through accountability
  • Familiarity with production tools, inspections, or job tracking systems
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel within the Carolinas as needed
  • Experience with storm restoration / high-volume residential operations preferred
  • Experience scaling new markets or standardizing crew processes preferred
