Job description
Outboard Boat Technician Wanted!
Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for an experienced Outboard Boat Technician to join our Georgetown service team. We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot, repair, and service boats with confidence in a fast-paced dealership environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair outboard engines and marine systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and hydraulic systems
- Perform inspections and maintenance
- Install marine accessories including electronics, GPS units, trolling motors, and audio systems
- Water-test and prepare boats for delivery
- Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with additional service department duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous marine or outboard technician experience REQUIRED
- Certified in Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or Honda outboards preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of marine electrical and fuel systems
- Ability to work independently while staying team-oriented
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license required
