Benchmark Metals is looking to expand their operations. We seek mill operators for 1st and 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates Cold Rolling Mill
Completes all data entry transactions in computer for coil data and labeling.
Reports problems that arise with machines, materials, jobs, or team members; and offers solutions where possible within the scope of the duties of the job
Prepares raw material for production with high quality and within tolerances
Provides complete, accurate documentation when required
Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment
Mechanical experience including: operation of high speed automatic and semi-automatic equipment
Set up and adjustment of metal forming processes (stamping, forming, shearing) preferred
Experience troubleshooting production equipment and ability to identify machine problems preferred
Experience measuring parts with precision instruments including: micrometers, digital calipers, load testers, etc.
Benchmark Metals Inc offers toll processing including: Slitting, Batch Annealing, Cold Rolling Temper Passing, Coil-to-Coil Cleaning, Leveling, Plate Burning and Steel Fabrication.
