Job Description

The Upright Technician sets up and runs presses to cut, form, and shape metal into specific parts, focusing on quality and precision by reading blueprints, monitoring machines, performing quality checks with measuring tools, and ensuring safety compliance in fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Main Work Activities:

Operation, adjustment, calibration and machine maintenance of the Upright Line rolling line and the lower duty line.

Operation and data guidance to PC.

Operation of metalworking machines.

Operation of forming machines.

Handling equipment.

Material handling.

Work with hand and mechanized tools.

Assembly and assembly of products.

Product packaging.

Keeping and listing the required documentation.

Performing auxiliary work in maintenance and repair of equipment.

Taking inventories.

Cleaning is carried out by manual and mechanized means.

Carrying out welding work, if authorized to do so.

Side activities:

Handling trolley operators.

Handling equipment.

Material handling.

Cleaning is carried out by manual and mechanized means.

Other activities:

Operation of metalworking machines.

Operation of forming machines.

Work with hand and mechanized tools.

Qualifications

Qualifications : 

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.

  • Experience: Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of measuring tools.
  • Soft skills :  Detail-oriented, good problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing).
