• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ histories of substance use and overall mental health status.
• Craft personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster client growth.
• Collaborate closely with fellow treatment team members—including social workers, addiction counselors, and psychiatrists—to ensure a holistic approach to care that integrates both mental health and addiction treatment.
• Educate clients’ families about addiction recovery processes and the importance of their involvement to strengthen support networks.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with regulatory standards and best practices.

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing substance abuse challenges, many of whom may also be dealing with complex mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. You will play a significant role in supporting these individuals as they strive toward sobriety and personal growth, working to empower them to build fulfilling, substance-free lives. Your compassionate and skilled approach can directly impact their recovery journey.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, specifically in the forms of LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise and experience in addiction counseling, with strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities, essential for collaborating within a diverse treatment team.

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly in substance abuse treatment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documenting patient care.
• Specialized training in family therapy or trauma-informed care approaches is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
