SUMMARY

Execute overall vision and strategy for Rock City Worship that is in alignment with Rock City Church’s mission, vision, and values. Assisting in cultivating a life giving, passionate and skillful culture of worship at Rock City Church through spiritual and musical leadership.


GENERAL DUTIES

  • Lead worship for the experiences of Rock City Church
  • Visible leader of the location, executing the vision of Rock City Church
  • Oversee all scheduling for location Worship Team
  • Lead and build teams to execute weekend services
  • Assist in the training and coordination of location team
  • Management of department planning and communication
  • Oversee implementation of department projects and goals
  • Execute worship audition process and help move volunteers through the process of becoming a member of the worship team
  • Assist in the care of the Rock City worship team
  • Develop high-capacity Rock City leaders
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new volunteers
  • Oversee all difficult conversations with volunteers at location
  • Connect and engage within the community of the location
  • Participate and help accomplish major Rock City Worship projects and department goals
  • Assist the Location Pastor with any needs at the location
  • Lead worship breakouts at leader nights
  • Assist in building team resources
  • Write and record music for Rock City Worship
  • Travel for Rock City Worship writing and recording
  • Provide worship experience leader and song leader training
  • Participate in content and video shoots
  • Oversee recruitment strategy at all locations
  • Create and implement standards for volunteer experience at all locations
  • Oversee and ensure connection and engagement in the life of Rock City Church for all worship volunteers

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on worship experience (required)
  • Ability to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a team
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar (required)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and ProPresenter (preferred)
  • Ability to use Nashville number system (required)
  • Ability to use Planning Center Online software (required)
  • Ability to operate Ableton Live (required)
  • Willing to learn new programs (as needed)
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to execute vision
  • Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Fully aligned with the vision, values, and beliefs of Rock City Church
  • Passionate about reaching people for Christ and committed to using graphic design to make Heaven full.
